Despite a best lap time I could not make big steps today - a stupid fall in which I sprained my hand and this brought me a strong swelling. A ride between anger, pain and disappointment was the result, which directly reflects the result! Worse - this also affects the day tomorrow. Due to the swelling I couldn't change tires and will have to ride the already broken ones even tomorrw! I would be lying if I was'nt disappointing! BUT! ... we are a team - one for all & all for one! I have to clench my teeth and make the best of it! In the overall ranking, I also fell back to 66th place and even worse some 11 places behind my team colleague Maxi Hahn in position 55! Luckily we still have Nico Maier - he gets better every day and improved to 89th place today. He is the reliable backup in the team and has also improved again by 2 places. Our team is now ranked 20th in the CLUB TEAM ranking! Even more important to us - we are also rank as best German CLUB TEAM after day 4 !!
