Day 1- bad start with slips and a fall

Today I will need a safe start to this tough six days week! ... unfortunately, I had three bad slips of the track & even a slight fall ... this is the way it turns, if you just expected too much and do not listen to the inner voice! I probably wanted a little too much, breaking mistakes at U-turns and unfortunately lost a lot of time. Even setting two best times in special stages ( out of all German club riders) did not help to compensate for the lost time. Nevertheless, only place 78 of all club riders (372), which certainly is not down to my expectations! I need to improve for tomorrow - at least that's what my inner voice is telling :) Unfortunately, the team also only settled in position 24th after day 1 ( out of 124 teams).

Also my team colleagues had issues here and there. Obviously all three of us feel pretty nervous and are putting too much pressure on ourselves! ... I will have to even risk more the next days and put a spike on - let's see if this works? #sideside2019 #enduro #portugal #isde2019 #dmsb1 #day1
